An Eaton High School Alumni, Eric Weaver still remembers the teacher who introduced him to photography - Mr. Combs. While on the yearbook staff for Eaton High, Eric provided pictures for the yearbook and even constructed and photographed a cover for one of the yearbooks. After graduating Eaton High School he joined the U.S. Navy and became a Hospital Corpsman (medic). After intense training with a Marine infantry unit Eric was deployed to serve in Desert Shield and Desert Storm as a Combat Corpsman with the Marines. Upon his return from combat duty liberating Kuwait Eric was able to further develop his photographic skills by becoming active in photographic organizations.

Honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1992 he started a career in sales and marketing. With hard work, creativity and a dedication to quality, Eric Weaver worked his way to becoming Director of Marketing for a manufacturing firm. Later, he changed industries and was Marketing Director for a health services firm. While serving in those executive positions, Eric's firey passion for photography still burned hot. Realizing his talents and passion for photography could no longer be contained he quit the corporate world and began wePHOTO.
